Over at <a href=\"http:\/\/povesham.wordpress.com\">Po Ve Sham<\/a> Muki Haklay hosts a <a href=\"http:\/\/povesham.wordpress.com\/2011\/03\/23\/review-of-openstreetmap-books\/\">comprehensive review<\/a> (by Thomas Koukoletsos and himself) <a href=\"http:\/\/povesham.wordpress.com\/2011\/03\/23\/review-of-openstreetmap-books\/\">of two OSM books<\/a>. The two books covered are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/OpenStreetMap-Using-Enhancing-Free-World\/dp\/1906860114\">OpenStreetMap: Using and Enhancing the Free Map of the World<\/a> (by F. Ramm, J. Topf and S. Chilton, 386 pages, \u00a325\/$26) and<\/li>\n<li> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/OpenStreetMap-Jonathan-Bennett\/dp\/1847197507\/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&amp;s=books&amp;qid=1301002441&amp;sr=1-1\">OpenStreetMap: Be your own Cartographer<\/a> (by J. Bennett, 252 pages, \u00a325\/$34)<br \/>\n(note the price difference in $ between the two books).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The former book also has a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.openstreetmap.info\/en\/index.html\">dedicated website<\/a> in German and English.<br \/>\nIn some parts the review by Thomas Koukoletsos and Muki sounds relatively equivocal, but the two come up with a strong recommendation at the end.
