The slides can be viewed at <a href=\"http:\/\/maptime.github.io\/anatomy-of-a-web-map\">maptime.github.io\/anatomy-of-a-web-map<\/a>\u00a0(allow some seconds for loading).\u00a0Click through for a thorough refresher and some innovative web map technologies. Even if you are familiar with the topic, you might still learn something new: For me, such a new thing was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mapbox.com\/developers\/utfgrid\/\">UTFGrid<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In this year&#8217;s\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.geosummit.ch\/\">Swiss GeoSummit<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/cedricmoullet\">C\u00e9dric Moullet<\/a> of Swisstopo talked about\u00a0similar topics in his presentation. Among others he featured a\u00a0comparison of popular webmapping frameworks,\u00a0the best-known\u00a0being Leaflet and OpenLayers (he himself\u00a0being an OpenLayers proponent).
