If you don&#8217;t know the format: it boils down to 20 slides that auto-advance every 15 seconds giving you a total of 5 minutes stage time\u00a0\u2013 pretty intense! I chose to make my talk\u00a0about some of the research I&#8217;ve been doing with my colleagues at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.oii.ox.ac.uk\/\">Oxford Internet Institute<\/a>, namely Drs. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.oii.ox.ac.uk\/people\/graham\/\">Mark Graham<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.oii.ox.ac.uk\/people\/hogan\/\">Bernie Hogan<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve published the slides on SlideShare:<\/p>\n<div class=\"jetpack-video-wrapper\"><iframe src='https:\/\/www.slideshare.net\/slideshow\/embed_code\/50777491' width='1088' height='891' sandbox=\"allow-popups allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-presentation\" allowfullscreen webkitallowfullscreen mozallowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>You can see some tricks I employed, for example building up to a conclusion over three to four slides in order to try and convey some more complex bits of information. Because of the format the information content of the slides overall is relatively low, I&#8217;m afraid.
